Blue Island Shell

Description

New masonry and steel convenience store with a 2,150 sq. ft. footprint and a new masonry and precast car wash with a 1,660 sq. ft. footprint in Blue Island, Chicago.

Challenges:

The goal of this project was to utilize a Convenience Store (including two different franchised build-outs), Carwash, and separate Gas/ Diesel pumps, and adapt them to the unique circumstances of this narrow and long site location. With the use of color rendering, Sorce Architecture was able to show how the various elements could be combined together in a cohesive plan.
